Man falls to his death from hotel in Pasay City

MANILA, Philippines–An Australian national fell to his death from a hotel in Pasay City early Wednesday.

Initial reports reaching the Pasay City police ‎operations said the incident happened at the Atrium Hotel on the corner of A. Luna Street and Buendia, across the JAC Liner terminal.

A Pasay officer who requested anonymity told INQUIRER.net ‎that the still unnamed man died on the spot at around 5:15 a.m.

He said the Scene of the Crime Operatives (Soco) are still in the area to conduct investigation.

Police have not determined yet whether the incident involved foulplay or a case of suicide.

In a report by Radyo Inquirer 990 AM, meanwhile,‎ said the man landed first on the street electrical wires before he fell to the ground. This  had caused a brownout in the area.
