Enzo Pastor’s parents thank PNP, Roxas for solving case

MANILA, Philippines—Parents of slain car racer Ferdinand “Enzo” Pastor personally thanked the Philippine National Police (PNP) leadership and Interior Secretary Manuel Roxas II for solving their son’s murder in just two months.

This after the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested in a week custom car businessman Domingo “Sandy” De Guzman III and his hired gunman Police Officer 2 Edgar Angel who were tagged as suspects in Pastor’s killing.

“I am here to thank Secretary Roxas and General (Felipe) Rojas and the Task Force Enzo Pastor. We’re very much thankful for the developments that for such a short time, the gunman and mastermind were uncovered,” Pastor’s father, Thomas, said in a press briefing in Camp Crame.

Police is also hunting down the victim’s wife Dahlia Guerrero-Pastor‎ for allegedly conniving with de Guzman, her alleged lover, in killing Pastor.

Asked for a comment on Guerrero’s participation in her husband’s death, Pastor said they were “shocked and surprised” on learning her involvement.

“We were not expecting the turnaround of the situation that the wife of my son is involved with someone who is going to kill my son,” the elder Pastor added.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old ‎racer’s mother Remy urged the public to join them in following the case until the suspects are prosecuted.

“We thank the Lord for all these miracles. This would’ve not happened without the prayers of the people who love and support my family, and of the press,” she said.

“Please join us to watch over the people who would be responsible for the death of my son,” she added.

The mother also sought for the media’s respect and cooperation as they could not divulge other information that could impair the investigation of th‎e case.
