MANILA, Philippines—Palace has ordered the suspension of work on Wednesday, July 16, in government offices in the National Capital Region and other areas under Signal No. 2 due to Typhoon Glenda (Rammasun).
“Upon the recommendation of the [National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council] and in view of the inclement weather brought about by TY Glenda, the Executive Secretary is suspending work in government offices and classes in all levels, both public and private, in the National Capital Region and all areas under Public Storm Warning Signal # 2, on Wednesday, July 16, 2014,” said Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda on Tuesday night.
