MANILA, Philippines–A man who went into hiding for over two years after he killed his cousin was finally arrested on Wednesday.
The police collared Richard Frasdilla, 30, in front of his house on Panopio Street in Barangay (village) Pasong Tamo, Quezon City, based on an arrest warrant issued by Judge Bernilito Fernandez of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 97.
Frasdilla was accused of killing his cousin Robert Frasdilla on March 29, 2012, according to a report of the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit. The victim was shot in the head as he was inside his aunt’s car in front of his house in Barangay Tatalon.
He died the next day. The shooting was apparently triggered by a feud between the victim’s aunt and the suspect’s father over scratches on the vehicle’s body.–Jaymee T. Gamil
