MANILA, Philippines — The alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles on Monday filed a bail petition on her plunder case with Senator Juan Ponce Enrile.

In her latest motion, Napoles said the evidence against her is not sufficient to prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt.

The whistleblowers’ testimonies are also “inadmissible evidence” because the witnesses admitted to forging documents pinning Napoles in the scam.

The motion also called the whistleblowers “polluted” and not reliable or credible witnesses.

She cited an instance when whistleblower Marina Sula admitted to forging Napoles’ signature.

“A witness who is capable of testifying falsely on a forged signature of a person is likewise capable of committing falsehood on less important details,” the motion read.

Napoles was charged with plunder and graft along with Senators Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada and Ramon Revilla for allegedly masterminding the pork barrel scam. Plunder is a non-bailable offense.
