MANILA, Philippines–Several houses were damaged in a fire that gutted a residential area in Caloocan City on Monday afternoon.
Fire Officer 3 Noel Soriano told INQUIRER.net in a phone interview that a still undetermined number of houses were razed by fire along Langaray street in Dagat-dagatan Avenue.
Soriano said the fire, which started at 1:41 p.m., reached the second alarm, prompting the Caloocan Fire Department to deploy more than four fire trucks.
It was put out less than an hour after at 2:20 p.m.
According to Soriano, no one was reported injured.
