The blaze quickly spread through the houses, which were made of light materials. Firefighters have been struggling to control the fire, as of this posting.

There have also been no reports of deaths or injuries in the fire so far.

The fire alarm was raised to Task Force Delta at around 6:40 p.m., and calling for 35 fire trucks from Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela and Quezon City fire departments to control the fire

Firefighters could still raise the alarm to Task Force Echo, which would require at least 39 fire trucks in the scene, or to the highest alarm level–General Alarm–which would require that all available fire trucks respond to the fire.
