Bong Revilla happy to reunite with cellmate Jinggoy Estrada
MANILA, Philippines–Senator Jinggoy Estrada is reunited with co-accused and friend Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. And Revilla is “happy” about it.
“Nagkita na sila at nag-usap na din sila. Okay naman (ang meeting nila) at nasiyahan si Sen. Revilla na magkasama sila doon,” Estrada’s counsel Alexis Abastillas-Suarez told reporters.
Police earlier said that Estrada would be detained at a cell adjacent to that of Revilla, which Suarez confirmed.
The lawyer said the two met at the “common area” of the newly-constructed facility inside the PNP Custodial Center, a one-hectare compound supposedly built for PNP Custodial Service Unit officers.
Estrada was committed by the Sandiganbayan’s Fifth Division to the Custodial Center in Camp Crame.

Asked about the current state of Estrada’s family, Suarez said in jest: “They are OK. His (eight-year-old youngest daughter) is still playing with him. Namumula na nga pisngi, laro ng laro (She is already turning red because of playing.).”
