JCI RUN MOVED
THE holding of JCI Run2Lead, Run for a Cause scheduled yesterday at the Parkmall has been moved to a later date due to the low turnout of registration from participants.
Organizer JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel rescheduled the event to November 2011.
JCI chapter president Eli Espina announced the postponement during the Scoop forum together with race director Joel Baring.
“Due to low turnout, the organizer decided to reschedule the event and we apologize for the inconvenience caused,” Espina said.
He also asked project partners to bear with the situation and still support the event tentatively set on Nov. 12.
Those who registered can still claim their specialized JCI singlet at the Parkmall and use it on the rescheduled date.
Registration is ongoing at Runnr Ayala, Parkmall and Cebu City Sports Center.
