MANILA, Philippines—Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. wants to surrender before the Sandiganbayan today, Thursday, a court official said.

Stella Teresita Rosete, division clerk of court, said Revilla’s lawyer called to say they would “surrender” the senator to the anti-graft court within the day.

She added that Revilla may be detained at the sheriff’s office.

Revilla and colleagues at Senate, Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile, are charged with graft and plunder for their alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam.
A warrant of arrest is being prepared as of posting time after the Sandiganbayan found probable cause against Revilla.
