Revilla wants to surrender to Sandigan—lawyer

MANILA, Philippines—Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. wants to surrender before the Sandiganbayan today, Thursday, a court official said.

Stella Teresita Rosete, division clerk of court, said Revilla’s lawyer called to say they would “surrender” the senator to the anti-graft court within the day.

She added that Revilla may be detained at the sheriff’s office.
