MANILA, Philippines—The Makati City Regional Trial Court Branch 150 ordered the immediate transfer of Janet Lim-Napoles from Ospital ng Makati to Fort Sto. Domingo in Laguna.

Branch 150 Judge Elmo Alameda issued the order after Dr. Florentina Villanueva and Dr. Perry Ishmael Peralta of the Ospital ng Makati issued the discharge order, which was submitted to court Thursday morning.

“The Director of Police Regional Office IV-A or any of his deputies is requested to provide adequate security personnel to escort the accused from the Ospital ng Makati to Fort Sto. Domingo, Sta. Rosa, Laguna,” the court order said.

“This order must be implemented immediately,” the court said.

Aside from the discharge order, the doctors also submitted a progress report of Napoles’ condition from Monday, May 25.

On May 25, Dr. Villanueva did the rounds on Napoles at 2 p.m.

Villanueva told her that she had to verify the amount of bleeding to monitor how she responds to the medication being given to her. She also requested a visual verification, preferably a picture of her napkin. but the brother and daughter refused the visual verification. So, the doctor just asked Napoles to describe how was her bleeding.

Napoles said her last pad change was 12 noon and had a streak of blood, no blood clots and red in color.

Then, on Tuesday 6 p.m., Napoles was in high spirits when she talked to the doctors. Dr. Villanueva asked Napoles for visual verification of the bleeding and she complied. Napoles told Villanueva that she has not worn a pad since morning.

On Wednesday, when Villanueva did the rounds at 4 p.m., Napoles was in bed, reading a newspaper, crying.

“She said nobody wanted to believe her, that everyone was making fun of her and making her life a circus,” the progress report said quoting Napoles.

Napoles said her bleeding was minimal but she refused to show her pad.

The Ospital ng Makati Doctors, said in their report that they are confident that her vaginal bleeding will not recur if “patient complies with the prescribed treatment regimen including complete bed rest and stress-free environment.”

Aside from the discharge order, the doctors also recommended that Napoles be given a guard, preferably a nurse because it is necessary to regularly take her blood sugar, vital signs and her vaginal bleeding needs to be monitored. Napoles must also not lift anything heavier than 5 kilos and she must be kept in bed most of the time with toilet privileges for at least a month.
