The progress report signed by Dr. Florentina Villanueva, Medical Team Leader and Dr. Perry Ishmael Peralta, Ospital ng Makati Medical Director noted that they were confident that the bleeding would no longer worsen as long as the “patient complies with the prescribed treatment regimen including complete bed rest and stress-free environment.”

Aside from issuing the discharge order, the doctors also recommended that Napoles be given a guard, preferably a nurse, because it is necessary to regularly take her blood sugar, vital signs and her vaginal bleeding needs to be monitored.

The report on her condition has been submitted to Makati RTC Branch 150 Judge Elmo Alameda who will make the decision if she can extend her stay in the hospital or if she can be transferred back to her detention facility.
