MANILA, Philippines— The lawmakers involved in the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam have denied involvement in the multi-billion racket  allegedly masterminded by Janet Lim-Napoles.

The flurry of denials came soon after the Senate Blue Ribbon committee made public the alleged list from the Napoles camp that was given to former senator Panfilo Lacson and submitted to the chamber.

Four senators maintained their stand that they did not divert their pork barrel funds to any of the dummy non-government organization (NGOs) linked to Napoles.

Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago fired back at Lacson for including her name on the list.

Santiago denied dealings with Napoles and tagged Lacson as an “attack dog” of Senator Juan Ponce-Enrile.

Senators Francis Escudero, Aquilino Pimentel III, and Loren Legarda have also denied dealing with Napoles and her dummy NGOs.

Former representative Juan Miguel “Mikey” Arroyo also denied dealing with Napoles while he was still in Congress.

According to him, he does not know Napoles and the list has no evidentiary value, and that the motives of those circulating it are highly suspicious.

Meanwhile, Budget Secretary Florencio Abad who was also included on the list maintained his stand that he never dealt with Napoles or any of her fake NGOs in any way throughout his career in public service.
