De Lima declines to confirm Napoles list bared by Senate
MANILA, Philippines—Justice Secretary Leila De Lima declined to confirm if the names appearing on the list that came out Tuesday matched the one that Janet Lim Napoles gave to her.
“I cannot be confirming anything on that at this point,” De Lima told reporters.
The Senate has already made public the alleged list from the Napoles camp that was given to former Senator Panfilo Lacson.
On the list are Senators Ramon Revilla Jr., Jinggoy Estrada, Juan Ponce Enrile, Vicente Sotto III, Loren Legarda, Koko Pimentel, Allan Peter Cayetano, Gringo Honasan and Francis ‘Chiz’ Escudero. Senator JV Ejercito is also on the list but he was in the list of Congressmen. Former senators included in the list are Manny Villar and the late Robert Barbers.
De Lima said she has a signed affidavit of Napoles. However, Napoles has promised to submit a complete affidavit, which she hopes to receive this week.
