Senate obtains copy of Lacson’s Napoles list

MANILA, Philippines—The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee has obtained a copy of the Napoles list that is in the custody of former Senator Panfilo Lacson Tuesday.

Blue Ribbon Committee chairman Teofisto Guingona III however said that they would want to see a copy of the affidavit of alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Napoles that she gave to Justice Secretary Leila De Lima.

“We will wait for the other list,” Guingona told reporters in an ambush interview.

The committee previously issued a subpoena for the list in the hands of De Lima. Guingona also said that Lacson committed to provide a copy of the other list.

Lacson said in a televised interview on Monday that among the senators on the list are Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Francis Escudero, Alan Peter Cayetano, Gregorio Honasan, and Budget Secretary Florencio Abad who is a former congressman of Batanes.

This was in addition to Senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Jose Estrada, and Ramon Revilla Jr., who are already facing plunder charges.
