Did you know: Apolinario Mabini

Today, May 13, is the 111th death anniversary of the “Brains of the Revolution,” Apolinario Mabini. Born on July 23, 1864, Mabini received his law degree from the University of Santo Tomas in 1894. He became a member of Jose Rizal’s La Liga Filipina and was a trusted adviser of Emilio Aguinaldo. He died of cholera in 1903 at the age of 38.—Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
