Remembrance Mass in Quezon City
MANILA, Philippines—A Mass of Remembrance will be offered on May 14 at 10 a.m. by the Prayer Warriors of the Holy Souls (PWHS) for victims of natural calamities, wars and tragedies that happened in May, at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Chapel of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral on Lantana Street in Quezon City.
Among these are the victims of earthquakes in Peru in 1970, Afghanistan (1998), Indonesia (2006) and Western China (2008), casualties of storms in Central America in 2010 and Catanduanes in 2011 and more recently, those who died in the ferry tragedy in South Korea last April.
The Mass of Remembrance is sponsored by the PWHS, a Catholic lay apostolate of the Monfort Foundation Inc. The PWHS is committed to propagate the devotion to the holy souls in Purgatory.
