Easterlies to prevail in Luzon, Visayas

MANILA, Philippines—Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of isolated rains or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening are forecast in the whole country, the state weather bureau said Thursday.

The easterlies, or winds coming from the east that is responsible for warm weather, are also affecting Luzon and Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the east will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the east to northeast over Mindanao.
