MANILA, Philippines – The Metro Rail Transit (MRT) has resumed operations as of 11:55 a.m. Tuesday, its general manager Al Vitangcol said.
This after operations were disrupted due to broken rails between North Avenue and Quezon Avenue that affected the deployment of trains to the succeeding stations.
The trains then were only limited to traverse Shaw Boulevard station up to Taft station and vice versa.
Vitangcol had earlier said the disruption could be fixed after two hours.
