Woman loses P50T in street hold-up

A 51-YEAR-OLD woman reported to the police that P50,000 cash was taken from her by two armed men who held her up in barangay Casuntingan, Mandaue City.

Lilian Cinco said she and her niece were walking home past 8 p.m. last Saturday when two men blocked their path and pointed guns at them.

Cinco said the armed men took her bag containing P50,000, an Apple Iphone worth P40,000, a Blackberry phone worth P10,500, an Ericsson phone worth P5,000.00, a Checkbook, identification cards and other personal belongings.

The woman said the robbers ran toward Banilad area.

Police conducted a follow-up operation but failed to locate the robbers./CORRESPONDENT NORMA N V. MENDOZA
