3 hurt by hostage-taker in Camarines Sur

PILI, Camarines Sur-—Three persons were hit by bullets fired by a hostage-taker in Barangay (village) New San Roque in this town Tuesday morning, police said.

Senior Inspector Benjamin Spana of the Pili Municipal Police Office identified the hostage-taker as Anton Zepeda, 35, who fired the shots at 9 a.m.

Spana, however, could provide no additional information yet on who were taken hostage and the motive for the hostage-taking.
