The Trade Union Congress of the Philippines located at Malate, Manila, is the biggest confederation of labor federations in the Philippines with 1.2 million members. Founded on Dec. 14, 1975, by 23 labor federations, it is now composed of almost 30 federations in all sectors and industries, including government employees.—Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
