MANILA, Philippines – Aftershocks continued to rattle Bohol, nearly two months after the powerful 7.2-magnitude quake devastated the province.
On Tuesday morning, a 3.3-magnitude quake was recorded in Tagbilaran City, with intensities felt in some areas, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The tectonic tremor was recorded 36 kilometers northeast of Tagbilaran City at 10:41a.m.
Intensity III was felt in Catigbian and Intensity II was felt in Tagbilaran City.
Damage is not expected from the aftershocks.
The 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Bohol last October 15 left massive damage to property and killed hundreds of people.
