Peñafrancia novena Masses begin Sept. 9

The novena Masses for the Our Lady of Penafrancia, patroness of Bicolandia, will begin on Friday, Sept. 9, at 6:15 p.m. at the Capitol Parish Church, Escario Street, Cebu City.

The novena Masses will run for nine days until Sept. 17.

The schedule of Novena Masses to be held at the Capitol Parish Church: Sept. 9, 6:15 p.m.; Sept. 10, 5:30 p.m.; Sept. 11, 5:30 p.m.;Sept. 12, 6:15 p.m.; Sept. 13, 6:15 p.m.; Sept. 14, 6:15 p.m.; Sept. 15, 6:15 p.m.; Sept. 16, 6:15 p.m.; and Sept. 17, 5:30 p.m.

The fiesta day on Sunday, Sept. 18, will be marked by a foot procession and a concelebrated Mass.

The procession will start from the Capitol parish at 4 p.m. A Mass will follow at 5:30 p.m.

The Bicol Association of Cebu Inc. headed by its president, Fr. Jerome Cayetano, SVD, is organizing the fiesta activities.

All devotees to the Ina or the Our Lady of Peñafrancia are invited to attend the fiesta activities and Masses.
