MANILA, Philippines – A technical problem forced the Light Rail Transit Authority to downgrade its operations in some of its stations, a spokesman said.

In a Twitter post, Attorney Hernando Cabrera said A. Santos, R. Papa, 5th Ave, Monumento,  Balintawak and Roosevelt were closed to passengers at 11:30 a.m. due to a “signalling problem.”

Trains from Baclaran to Blumentritt and back, however, remained operational, he said.
