Cebu now under state of calamity

MANILA, Philippines – Cebu province was placed under a state of calamity after it was hit by a 7.2-magnitude earthquake on Tuesday, the local government said online.

“Resolution was passed by the #Cebu Provincial Board 20 [minutes] ago declaring Cebu Province under state of calamity,” the Cebu Provincial Government said over Facebook.
