Cebu, Bohol suspend classes

MANILA, Philippines–Classes in all public and private schools in Cebu and Bohol is suspended until Wednesday after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit parts of Visayas and Mindanao.

The Department of Education (DepEd) posted Tuesday on Twitter that DepEd regional offices in Cebu and Bohol cancelled classes in all levels due to damages sustained by the schools following the earthquake.

Dumaguete City authorities suspended classes earlier in the day.
