Bisdaks iron out kinks for Milo nat’l finals

THE minor kinks in Team Visayas’ campaign in the 5th Milo Little Olympics National Finals on Oct. 25 at the Cebu City Sports Center have all been ironed out yesterday during the meeting of the different coaches and team managers at the CCSC.

This was revealed by Danilo Villadolid, one of the moving forces behind the hosting of the national meet, which is expected to gather around 1,600 athletes from Luzon, defending champion NCR, Visayas and Mindanao.

“Na iron out na nila ang mga ginagmay nga problems such as kadtong mga kulang na Form 137’s ug mga medical certificates. So okay na tanan ang requirements sa mga athletes kay gi furnish man pud dayon sa ilang mga coaches today (yesterday),” said Villadolid.

Another meeting for the liaison officers, medical teams, communicators, police, CITOM and MEC will be held today at 9 a.m. also at the CCSC.

Meanwhile, the delegates are expected to arrive on the 24th and they are scheduled to practice and familiarize themselves in their respective playing venues spread out throughout the city.

A Press Conference is also scheduled on the 24th at 11 a.m. at the Sarrosa International Hotel followed by the Technical Rehearsal (Parade) and Production Meeting for the Opening/Closing at the Cebu City Sports Center. A solidarity meeting of all coaches and tournament managers will be held a 8:30 a.m. on the 25th also at the Sarrosa International Hotel Grand Ballroom followed by the weigh-in for Taekwondo at the Sarrosa International Hotel Lobby.

Assembly of all participants will be at 3 p.m. at the CCSC while the opening parade and program proper will start at 5 p.m.
