At least five dead in Pakistan quake—police
QUETTA —At least five people were killed when a powerful earthquake hit southwest Pakistan on Tuesday, a senior police officer told AFP, and more deaths are feared.
Rafiq Lassi, police chief for Awaran district in Baluchistan province where the 7.8-magnitude quake struck, said five bodies had been recovered from collapsed buildings.
