USP-F, DBTC rout rivals in Cesafi football

THE University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USP-F) and the Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) blanked their opponents in yesterday’s resumption of secondary football competition of the Cebu Schools Foundation Inc. at the Cebu City Sports Center.

USP-F demolished University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R), 8-0, while DBTC lambasted University of San Carlos (USC), 7-0.

In the USP-F-USJ-R match, Christian Millebo scored a hat trick to lead the Panthers’ scoring spree. Millebo pierced the Jaguars’ defense in the 25th, 26th and 44th minutes.

Former Little Azkals member Lawrence “Soysoy” Colina contributed two goals in the 51st and 69th minutes.

FEATURED STORIES

The three remaining goals were scored by James Velasquez, national under-16 member Major Dean Ebarle and Vic Jason Felicelda.

In the other game, scoring two goals apiece were Vincent Erik “Ngitz” Lovitos, former Little Azkal, and Adrian Cubero.

Lovitos scored his first goal with just four minutes in the match and then in the 34th minute. Cubero scored in the 32nd and 63rd minutes.

The rest of the goals were contributed by Glenn Thomas Ramos (56th), Ezra Decena (72nd) and Angelo Moiselle Alforque (77th), also a former Little Azkal. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
