Convoy with PNP coaster, ambulance enters Makati City Jail

MANILA, Philippines—A long convoy of vehicles with an ambulance and a coaster allegedly owned by the Philippine National Police enters the Makati City Jail early Sunday, radio reports said.

As confirmed by reporters on site, the PNP-owned coaster was the one that carried Janet Lim-Napoles when she was transferred from Camp Crame to Makati City Jail on Thursday.

The convoy includes vehicles carrying members of the PNP and the Special Action Force.

On Friday, the Makati Regional Trial Court granted Napoles’ request to transfer from the Makati City Jail to Fort Sto. Domingo in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

In earlier interviews, Interior Secretary Mar Roxas didn’t specify the exact time and date of Napoles’ transfer to Fort Sto. Domingo.
