MANILA, Philippines– Janet Lim-Napoles’ brother, Reynald “Jojo” Lim, might also surrender to authorities, a Palace spokesman said, quoting Napoles herself.

“I think, if I remember it right, si Ms. Napoles said hopefully the brother will also surrender,” presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said at a press briefing in Malacañang.

Napoles and her brother are facing illegal detention charges of whistleblower Benhur Luy but both went into hiding after a warrant was issued for their arrests.

Napoles voluntarily surrendered to President Aquino in Malacañang Wednesday night.

Unlike Napoles, whose P10 million bounty had been withdrawn, Lacierda said, the P5 million reward for the arrest of the brother would stay.

“He’s at large, so the bounty exists for the brother,” the spokesman said.
