MAN GUNNED DOWN

A MAN was shot dead inside the Citi Center Market in barangay Kamagayan, Cebu City early morning yesterday.

The victim, who died on the spot, was shot in the nape.

He was about too buy “puto” from a stall when he was shot from behind.

COPRA DRYER RAZED

FIRE razed a mechanical copra dryer last Thursday morning in barangay Catmondaan, Catmon town, northern Cebu.

The caretaker was drying copra but may have left the facility unattended, SFO1 Ramuel Supieza said.

Copra worth at least P15,000 was damaged. The fire was contained in 15 minutes.

MAN STABBED IN TUBURAN

A 34-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed and injured by another man in barangay Cabcaban, Tuburan town, northern Cebu last Thursday.

Police arrested a suspect, Hilario Perales Jr. who said he and the victim Ronn ie Mahinay were drinking liquor when they ended up arguing.

Perales said he was on his way home when Mahinay and his friends tried to waylay him.

Perales said he was able to grab the knife from Mahinay’s brother and used it in stabbing him.

Mahinay was brought to the Tuburan District Hospital.
