Reports at the NPD showed that the victim and several of her other classmates, most of them minors, were invited to a drinking session in the suspect’s house early in the morning. After consuming several bottles, the victim allegedly felt nauseous, and asked that she be excused.

“She went to retire to a room inside the house. A few minutes later, though, the suspect followed,” Baliong said.

It was while the student was unconscious that Griño allegedly committed the crime.
