Number coding lifted Tuesday— MMDA

MANILA, Philippines –The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Tuesday lifted its number coding scheme amid intermittent rains that caused floods in several parts of Metro Manila.

“Number Coding is lifted today, August 20, 2013,” the MMDA said on its Twitter.

If the coding scheme was in effect, vehicles with license plates ending in 3 and 4 would not be allowed to travel in major thoroughfares.
