MANILA, Philippines – A man’s dismembered body was found on Wednesday stuffed in a trash bag in Manila, police said.

Senior Police Officer 3 Ferdinand Apollonio said the body of the still unidentified victim was recovered under a tree at the corner of Maceda and Matimyas streets in Sampaloc, Manila around 7:45 a.m.

When authorities arrived at the area and opened the black trash bag, they were stunned to see the victim’s decapitated head, torso and chopped-up legs.

Meanwhile, a radio report described the victim as wearing checkered shorts and green T-shirt with markings “AERO 1987 SURF.”
