Kopiko supercross series moved for safety reasons

DUE TO THE heightened alert brought about by the recent bombings in Mindanao, the eighth leg of the Kopiko 3-in-1 Supercross Series will be moved to another date and venue.

The race was initially scheduled in Davao City in-line with the annual Kadayawan Festival.

Man and Machine Racing Promotions’ manager Arnold Ignacio said for the safety of spectators and participants, they are postponing the race.

Local authorities are on full alert after successive bombings in Mindanao that claimed innocent lives.

Organizers are waiting for further instructions from authorities. Another option for them is to stage the race in General Santos City, in line with the Panabo Festival.  /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
