Dr. Ester Concha, head of the Department of Social Welfare and Services (DSWS), accompanied the police during the raid. The eight women were turned over to her care.

Chief Insp. Aileen Recla said police received reports two weeks ago that the parlor was offering sexual services to customers and using the massage services as a front.
