/ 06:13 AM July 19, 2013

In its commitment to better education for the Filipino children, the Juanito I. King Foundation Inc. (JIKFI), together with partners Cebu Landmasters and RDAK Land, formally turned over donations amounting to P600,000 to the Children’s Hour last July 6 at the ABSoberano International Corp. building in barangay Labangon, Cebu City.

The event was attended by Cebu Landmasters chief executive officer Jose Soberano III, JIKFI executive director Kenneth Raymund H. King and Children’s Hour assistant executive director Geenette Garcia.

The money is used in constructing a two-classroom structure to address the lack of classrooms of Upper Tunghaan school in Minglanilla town, southern Cebu.

The school has 21 sections but it only has 15 classrooms, prompting the six other sections to hold classes in makeshift classrooms.
