DSWD to launch new website next week

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas will launch its new website next week to deliver updated news and information to the public.

“The new website is a better version of the current one and it aims to provide the growing number of educated and internet savvy netizens with high-quality news coverage about the services and programs of DSWD,” said DSWD-7 Regional Director Mercedita Jabagat.

Netizens can view the new site, https://www.fo7.dswd.gov.ph/, on July 1.

It will give the freshest updates on the core social protection programs of the agency namely, the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services, Sustainable Livelihood Program and the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction.

Other updates on the supplementary feeding program as well as social pension for indigent senior citizens can also be accessed. The site will also feature success stories of the agency’s projects and anti-poverty programs.
