Bulldogs wrest LABA title

TEAM Bulldogs recently bagged the championship trophy of the season-opening conference of the 2013 Los Amigos Basketball Association (LABA) with a 98-84 bashing of Nolbes in their championship match at the Banilad Sports Complex.

Gilbert Sebandal, vice president of LABA, and Richard Jordan each tallied 12 markers and had three teammates scoring in double digits as the Bulldogs dominated the match right from the opening tip.

Team owner Arnold Pestaño led the way for Nolbes with 12 points. LABA President Cris Ubas spearheaded the awarding ceremony, where he thanked the organization’s vice presidents Lou Ornopia and Sebandal for the roles they played in ensuring the success of the league’s maiden season. /EDITORIAL ASSISTANT CALVIN D.
