Annabelle Rama, the feisty celebrity talent manager, conceded defeat to Raul del Mar in the race for Cebu City north congressional district yesterday.
Rama thanked her supporters via Twiter and vowed to continue pursuing her political dream. She borrowed the iconic quote from Gen. Douglas MacArthur – “I shall return”.
“It’s not the end of my political career. Asahan nyo mga kababayan ko sa Cebu. Di pa tapos ang pagtulong ko sa inyo (My fellow Cebuanos, I will not stop helping you).”
