FOUR NABBED IN DRUG-BUST

A SUSPECTED drug pusher and his four alleged customers were arrested in a buy-bust operation inside a pension house in barangay Capitol Site, Cebu City.

Arrested were Ronan Tabo-tabo, 29, of barangay Otso, Tuburan,Cebu; Luigi Medalle, 25, of barangay Lahug, Cebu City; Kene Haryll Ruelan, 31, of barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City; Emmanuel Arceno, 28, of barangay Capitol Site, Cebu City; and Gibson Legara, 22, of barangay Montaneza, Malabuyoc, Cebu.

Jessie Tabanao, information officer of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas (PDEA), said they have been receiving reports of the Tabo-tabo’s alleged involvement in illegal drug trade.

LABORER ACCUSED OF RAPING GIRL

A 56-YEAR-OLD construction worker was arrested by police on accusation that he raped a seven-year-old girl in Cebu City.

Police said Eddie Dela Pena enticed the girl to go with him by giving her money.

Police said the man brought the girl to the kitchen of his house where the alleged rape took place.

The girl reported the incident to her cousin who in turn informed her mother.

The mother sought help of the police that led to the man’s arrest.

MAN STABS FORMER LOVER

A 33- YEAR-OLD old woman was critically wounded after she stabbed by her former live-in partner in barangay Bangkal, Lapu-Lapu City.

Abita Egoy sustained stab wounds in the back and abdomen.

The suspect, Henry Dehito, remains at large.

Police said the two broke up a few months ago.

Jealousy was the cause of the break-up as Dehito accused Egoy of having an affair with his cousin.

Last Friday night, Egoy was walking home when Dehito once again confronted her about the alleged affair.

Egoy insisted that she and the suspect’s cousin had no relationship.

The argument escalated when the man took a knife, stabbed the woman and fled.
