Worker shot for chasing robber

A 22-YEAR-OLD man was shot when he tried to chase an armed robber in barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City.

Kirby Legaspi, 22, was wounded in the right thigh.

Legaspi tried to chase a man who robbed his co-worker around 4 a.m. yesterday.

Police said Legaspi and Mylene Botong, both workers of General Milling Corp., walked home together after their night shift.

Legaspi also gave chase when he was shot.

The bullet pierced through the man’s cellphone in his right pocket.

Legaspi was brought to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital.
