Cafe France faces Cebuana

/ 07:48 AM April 25, 2013

THE Café France Bakers look to bounce back from a loss in their previous game and boost their playoff bid when they take on the Cebuana Lhuillier Gems today in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Arena in Pasig City.

The Bakers lost to the Boracay Rum Waves, 50-55, and are now in danger of missing the playoffs. The Bakers, tied with the Shakers at 3rd and fourth places, are expected to have their hands full against the Gems, who look to snap a two-game skid to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Cebuana has lost its last two games and is tied with the Superchargers and the Cagayan Valley Rising Suns at seventh to ninth spots.

In today’s other matches, Fruitas (5-3) tries to bounce back from two successive setbacks when it takes on winless Informatics (0-7) at 12 noon while Big Chill (4-4) seek its first back-to-back wins in the conference when it faces Jumbo Plastic (3-5) at 4 p.m. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
