Arrested

Police yesterday claimed that they had arrested a member of the Ozamiz robbery group in Misamis Occidental.

Felbert Mata, 35, was arrested by Investigation and Detective Management Branch policemen in Misamis Occidental.

The policemen served a pending warrant of arrest for illegal drug possession in Cebu City from Regional Trial Court Judge  Macaundas Hadjirasul of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 7.

Relado and his team went to Oroquieta City where Mata was seen staying with a relative Roy Dorono.

When they served the warrant, Dorono shot at the policemen but no one was hurt and police succeeded in arresting the Dorono and Mata.

Relado said that Dorono was a suspect in the Mango Square robbery last year.

Relado said when his men arrived at the house of Mata’s relatives, Doroño pulled a gun and fire it to the police.
