ALL IS SET for the MAD (Make A Difference) Run For Health and Wellness slated March 10 starting at the Lahug Barangay Hall.

The running event will have 5-kilometer, 10k and 16k distances. Unlike other running events, organizers made sure that the registration fee of this run won’t be expensive.

The registration fee is pegged at P150 inclusive a of a race singlet. Because of this, race director Joel Juarez and the rest of the organizers headed by Lahug barangay captain Mary Ann delos Santos and barangay Tinago councilor Joel Garganera are expecting around 1,500 to 2,000 participants.

“Health and wellness should not be expensive that’s why we made the registration fee cheap for the runners,” said Garganera.

Registration can be done at the RUNNR Ayala Center Cebu, Abellana National School and Lahug Barangay Hall. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
