Colonnade Charter Day chess set this weekend

THE 2013 COLONNADE Mall Charter Day Kiddies and Ladies Open Chess Tournament will be held this weekend at the second level of Colonnade Mall in Colon Street.

Organized by the Cebu Chess Association and sponsored by the Cebu City Government and Colonnade Mall, the tournament is held in line with the celebration of the Cebu City Charter Day this Sunday.

The tournament’s theme is “Celebrating The Cebu City Charter Day thru Sports.” It will use a seven-round Swiss System format with 25 minutes playing time.

Registration fee is pegged at P100. The tournament will kick off at 10 a.m. after the registration. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
