Arroyo loses voice, gets treatment
MANILA, Philippines—Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is undergoing therapy for loss of voice, according to political ally Jerry Pelayo, mayor of Candaba, Pampanga.
According to him, Arroyo has been advised against talking to visitors or on the phone.
He added that the former President was being prepared for discharge either Thursday or Friday.
